Important information :

• The dominant theme in this course is that God wants to restore his image in you, in other words, transform you into the image of Christ, so you can be a fruitful member of the present and eternal community with himself and his followers.
• The companion theme to that dominant theme is that our ultimate happiness is the union of love with God in Christ, which grows as God Christforms us.
• This course is for believers who are beyond the beginner stage; if there are references in the videos you do not understand, try consulting a Bible Dictionary.
• Please reserve approximately an extra 20 minutes when you watch each video because nearly all of them contain questions or exercises to work through.
• If there is audio but no video, please try a different browser. Our tech support people have not been able to determine the cause of this.
• There is an in-depth spiritual life questionnaire in one of the lessons for you to fill out and receive comments from your coach.
• There are also “quiz” questions for most lessons, but they are not real quizzes. It will take 10 to 40 minutes to work through each quiz and they are essential for absorbing the video.
• When going through an exercise in a video remember to take notes as you do the exercise so you can answer the questions about what happened. The question(s) will be in the “quiz” which will appear after the video lesson. Many of the exercises are in the Christformation Exercises book you can download when you have your 20-minute welcome chat with your coach.
• The course and the “quizzes” are not graded. There is no pressure when answering the questions.
• You only need to write one or two sentences when answering the quiz questions (or sometimes less), unless it appears that the question is asking for more.
• Please write something in the answer box for each quiz question. The software requires at least one character answer for all questions.
• Please be very honest when you answer the questions, and if you do not know the answer you can write “I don’t know.”
• When you finish your quiz answer, click on the “Check” button to submit and go to next question. There is also an optional area under the Check button to add your own notes about the question.
• Please wait at least five days between each lesson in order to give time for the lesson to sink in. Most lessons have a question that asks you to absorb or practice something from the lesson for the next four days. Your daily quiet time is a good time to do this.
• Your coach will monitor the 5-day period between completing the quizzes.
• The coach may send you a comment or question about an answer before you proceed to the next lesson.
• Since there are 24 lessons, this course will take you at least 125 days (over four months) to complete. Six months is typical.
• As you go through the course you will see a form to send a note to the instructor if you wish. You will also see a bell-shaped icon in the upper right which turns red when there is a message from the instructor.
• A 700+ page pre-published guide to Christian maturity titled The Christlike Creed by Phil Rehberg is available for those who want to go deeper as they go through this course. Cost:$30.
• Possibly consider planting a Christformation small group or congregation. You may start a congregation by finding 5 others who will go through the course. Free consulting for a new congregation is available from the creator of the course.
• Please forgive the imperfections in the video lessons. They were all filmed outdoors. Also, the speaker did not always follow the best speaking principles while filming!
